Issue four of the UK
Masters of the Universe comic featured a story titled
"Mountains From Space." In this story there is a scene where
Skeletor erects a protective barrier around
Snake Mountain to protect he and his
Evil Warriors from a forthcoming meteor shower! An amusing panel shows that the barrier plunges Snake Mountain into darkness. What is so amusing about that I hear you ask? Well, surprisingly it turns out that the Evil Warriors and Skeletor himself are afraid of the dark! Take a look at the panel below to read some very odd dialogue exchanged between
Beast Man and Skeletor...

LOL great comic strip!!LOL
Too bad that the Evil Warriors didn't have the "magic charm" that Orko gave to Cringer in "Fraidy Cat," which made Cringer feel brave in the scene where he is confronted by the evil spirit within Snake Mountain! :)
Beast-Man, Spikor, and Whiplash are illustrated very similar to their cartoon versions, here! Nice illustration and use of color, in this one. :)
Thanks for posting and reading! God Bless...

Oh them silly UK comics!
The whole notion of Skeletor and his cronies being afraid of dark is a terrific one once you get into the right mind-set.
What I actually find interesting in this panel is Beast Man referencing being at Prison Star. Never imagined old Beasty also being a "guest" there...
